Object Name dress
Description Floor length white dress of heavy cotton. Bodice has slightly raised waist strengthened underneath with 1 1/2" tape or binding. Bodice is lined in lightweight net that supports rounded and collar-less yoke closes with separate hooks and bars. Dress closes side front with numerous hooks and bars, including a few over the shoulder. Rows of self fabric covered buttons in parallel rows go down upper third of bodice and upper two thirds of attached skirt. A 9 x 11 flap hangs below the waist, decorated with cord passementerie and knotted balls. Above elbow sleeves of cotton and open work net with embroidery. Skirt is unlined. 54 1/2" Length, raised waist is 25". Circa 1910
